Creating chatbot for Facebook with hosted bots

One of the perks of using facebook  for your business is that you get a messenger platform for free. However when you business grows, it becomes difficult to respond to each query from the user.
If you want to maintain your excellent response rate on facebook messenger, you need to have a chatbot solutions. In this article we are going to learn how to link your facebook page and then test with hostedbots chatbot.

Step1: Login to the the hostedbots member's area

You can log into the hostedbots login are by following this link Log In. If you have not created your hostedbots login, you do it for free through this link New User.

Step2 : Navigate to facebook channel section

Once you are logged into the Member's area, you will see a dashboard. You can now navigate to facebbok channel section once you click on "Smart Channels" as shown here


Navigate to the facebook channel, if you have not configured your facebook page, then you should see this

Step3: Link your Facebook page

Now you can link your facebook page by clicking on button "Link/Modify your facebook page". Once you click on this button, you will be redirected to the Facook Oauth2 page that will ask you for permission so that our platform can ask you which facebook page you want to link.

Chose Facebook Page that you want to link



Once you click on "Link this page", your facebook page will be linked and you will be redirected to the member's area.


Step4: Test your bot


You can now create a bot and test it. If you have not created any bot  you can follow this URL Bot Creation Guide which will guide you step be step how to create your first bot.


Now you are ready to test your bot, just type the command in the messenger window as shown below
